Chapter 1

In 1990, Rick and Regina Mardex began providing New York's Southern Tier with the finest in Wedding and Event photography and storybook style albums. Our business has greatly evolved over the past few years due to rapid advances in digital photography. Today, we use digital photo equipment instead of film and designer softwares to create your album, yet the focus of our business remains unchanged. It's our goal to create beautiful images and albums of your special event as well as a smooth, enjoyable experience for you, your friends and family.

Your Photographers

Rick and Regina Mardex are a husband and wife photographic team.

Rick is the primary photograper and is a graduate of New York University's Film School. He has won numerous awards in professional photographic competition and has actively continued his professional education and affiliation through the Professional Photographers Society of New York (PPSNY) and the Professional Photographers Association (PPA). As a highly trained photographer with many years of training and experience, Rick's images exudes a clean, natural look in both his composed and journalistic work.

Regina's photographic career began somewhat later in life. As Rick's photographic assistant, Regina's excellent eye for emotion and detail were apparent each time she said to Rick, "you need to take a picture of that..." As these suggestions became more frequent, it became apparent that Regina needed her own camera. And so began her career as a wedding photojournalist!
